Justin's secret celeb crush, Samantha Power (aka the Genocide Vixen), has resigned as an adviser to Barry O. Apparently she was talking smack about Hillary Clinton. Here's the article I heard him read over the phone today, broken.

The reporter should have given Samantha Power a break.
It isn't news that at least one member of a campaign doesn't like the candidate of an opposing campaign. Samantha Power had a slip and immediately tried to retract her insult.
Here in Minnesota, the 2006governor's race was decided by the Democratic candidate, Mike Hatch, being quoted as calling a reporter a "Republican whore."
The press treating that insult as a big story allowed Republican Tim Pawlenty to get re-elected in an otherwise bad year for Republicans in MN.

Unfortunately, "slips" cannot be made in high-profile political campaigns. What Samantha Power said about Clinton being a "monster" damages the whole democratic party... WE NEED A DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENT! I also believe that it was degrading, as well as the comment by Democratic candidate, Mike Hatch, to women. Both completely uncalled for, and stemming from the inability to control one's emotions... professional politicians ought to know how to keep their emotions/thoughts/comments in check.
